VENDOR SPOTLIGHT - AVALON EVENT RENTALS

Last summer we joined forces with our friends over at Marry Okanagan to giveaway a $10,000 wedding to one lucky couple. Ben & Becky won our contest and just next month, we will be helping them host a gorgeous Okanagan wedding with the help of some amazing vendors. To get the celebrations underway we've interviewed some of our vendors to learn more about them. Here's today's spotlight...

Having managed a rental company of similar size and product line for a number of years in my past career - in my opinion, Avalon is one of the best rental companies in BC. We've had the chance to assist in Avalon's showroom and have participated with their team on a number of projects; I am always impressed with their "can-do" attitude and overall efficiency. We are honored that Avalon is supplying rentals for our contest; completing all or needs for a cocktail hour tea party.

5 - What tips would you give couples about their wedding?

Hire a professional wedding planner.  Ensure they are established and have been in business for a number of years.  You get what you pay for.  The cost up front will save you time, stress and money in the long run.  Have day of planner or coordinator to take care of the details and eliminate the day of stress....
